        Lena Solomon, is a Psychologist, holds a Doctorate in Psychology and has over 35 years of experience. She is registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists and College of Psychologists of Ontario for practice in clinical and rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology, with pediatrics and adults. She has extensive experience in both assessment and treatment in the fields of PTSD, mood disorders, rehabilitation of complex body and brain injuries, chronic pain, ADHD/ADD, and other childhood disorders as well as parenting. One of her specialties is work with parent groups of children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD/ADD. She has also worked at Toronto's Sick Kids hospital.

 

       She has extensive experience working with army veterans and victims of terrorist attacks in the aftermath and in real time.

 

​​       She performs both individual, adults, children and family intervention.

​

       Before her arrival in Canada, she completed her specialization training in clinical rehabilitation and neuropsychology in Israel, having worked in

brain injury rehabilitation units and pediatric neurology wards. She also taught university and college level courses in the field of cognition, emotional aspects of neuropsychological impairments, as well as in the subject of Democracy and Humanistic Values.

         

        Her work entails assessments and psychological treatment. Her approach to treatment combines cognitive-behavioural techniques with dynamic insight, interpersonal, emotion focused and problem solving techniques.

        She is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Romanian.
